Just Come!

I am so blessed to have access to any number of ministries by way of radio, TV, cell phone, ipod, and of course internet!  While I listen to several, I am learning, you cannot eat from everyone's table, nor can you stop seeking greater revelation because you find a teacher who meets your need for a SEASON.  As you grow, you will need to diversify your diet; a toddler doesn't need the same foods as a teenager!  While these are issues to  prayerfully consider and decide on, one thing doesn't change.  JESUS SAVES.  From the guttermost to the uttermost--Jesus saves, so just come to Him.  He will work out the details.  Don't try to understand everything in the bible, and don't try to "be holy"--JUST COME!  Anything else that needs to be done, He will do it, but He cannot love you to wholeness if you don't come into His presence...just come. No hoops required.

You Might Not Believe This*

WOO HOO!!!!!! Have you heard Rob Rufus?  Talk about a grace preacher?  This brother is DYNOMITE to the 10th power!!  I was so thrilled to hear him.  He is Joseph Prince's mentor (I don't know that for sure, but his messages are so clear, Jo could have preached from what he heard from Rob--heck, I might be able to preach grace from his teaching!!) So, if you get a chance, google Rob, and FIND HIM. *You won't be disappointed...

Ways of Grace

I recently made some purchases.  Unfortunately, everyone is not as customer oriented as I would like them to be.  One Customer Services Rep was particularly unpleasant, and initially, I got angry.  Then, I thought about the fact that I have a Heavenly Father!  He loves and cares for me!!  Do I really need to get upset because someone does not treat me well?  Won't my Father handle all of my haters?  Well, after trying to get the Rep to acknowledge my royalty, I left the store.  I was disappointed, but I resolved to not pursue a complaint.  I began to feel a little concerned for the CSR; my Daddy really doesn't like it when people don't treat me well.  A few days later, the Quality Control arm of this same store called and asked if I was pleased with the service I received.  I let them know I was not, but if they had not called me, I never would have mentioned it.  The victory for me, was letting it go, extending to the CSR the grace she needed on that day.  Who knows what she had been going through?  Grace works folks.  Sometimes it seems like you lose, but you really win when you give others what they need with the confidence that your Father will make sure you get what you need.  The more confidence I have that my Father is working on my behalf, the easier it is for me to "work" on the behalf of others, letting them off the hook so to speak, and not requiring they meet my standard...That's grace, and it works by faith! 

ROAD TRIP!!!!

Whew! The month of July was a worldwind of activity; trips to NY, MD, and MI to visit friends...this trip was PRICELESS! I finally got it: I am exactly where I am supposed to be. Even though it took me 11 years to figure that out, I finally GOT IT!!!!!!!! And now, all I want to do is live in purpose. I see the future I have been promised, and I want it NOW!!!!! y'all pray for me, hear?

Confessions of a Hoop Jumper

You know, trying to perform to be accepted is just a horrible way to live! You try and try, yet someone always has something to say about your performance. Well, I learned a long time ago that the only way to be free of hoops--those bondages that keep you worrying about what somebody thinks, is to not jump through them! We who receive the favor of God are accepted in the Beloved Christ, to be showered with every blessing!! Why? simply because God wants to show the riches of His favor throughout eternity! I'll take His favor over the favor of man ANY DAY!!!! So now, NO MORE HOOPS! say it with me now: NO MORE HOOPS! And may we be liberated from trying to earn the free favor of God as well...just receive it #withThanksgiving.

Grateful? Grace Full!

Ever thought about what it takes to make up your bed? I never gave it a thought--that was until one of my arms gradually became so stiff, and so weak, that I could not even fluff my cover without pain! We take so much for granted. But, when we are grateful--for the ability to move without pain, for our family and friends, for sight and health, and salvation, God is able to move through our gratefulness to fill us with His grace (think, "favor") until we just receive preferential treatment in everything! My arm is on the mend. I realize that at my age (wouldn't YOU like to know!)I have to make special effort to remain limber (i.e. exercise!!). My effort to remain filled with grace/favor is to remember to be thankful for all the ways I am already blessed. That attitude, mixed with confidence in God (some call that faith), puts me in line for a life filled with favor! Declare God's favor over your life. Then, expect Him to shower you with His love and kindness, and be thankful. You will see miracles and blessings as never before!

Grace Gives No Condemnation, So We Can Go & Sin No More!

A lot of talk lately about marriage between homosexuals...Well, God's grace is for the homosexual too! He DOES NOT condemn the homosexual--but neither does He condone the sin! So if you are a member of this community, know that Jesus will gladly receive you; just come to Him. He will give you the gift of no condemnation, and this precious gift will give you the power to let go of the lifestyle that has dominated your life, and give you the freedom to live in purpose--as He intended you to--receiving and giving love as He designed it...and ain't nothin' wrong about that!
